Unfolding Symmetry
2025
52” x 48” x 120”
Steel, paint, dichroic acrylic
A deconstructed dodecahedron teeters between becoming and unbecoming,
and the rigid geometry unfolds into something organic.
Steel edges give way to petal-like planes,
evoking both cellular structures and cosmic forms.
What begins as a platonic solid becomes something floral and mutable:
a gesture toward the connective tissue of the universe.
Here, symmetry is not fixed, but in motion.
